On the floor of the 2009 International Convention, Bo and Ryan speak with several dynamic individuals, including Byron Embry, contestant for the International Speech Contest; Lance Miller, 2005 World Champion of Public Speaking; Johnny Campbell, "The Transition Man"; Ted Corcoran, Past International President; and Balraj Arunasalam, Immediate Past District Governor for District 82 (India and Sri Lanka).
This is brilliant, I am sitting listening to your podcast in Guildford, Surrey, England and I feel part of the International Convention. You have given me access to hear people, I would never get to hear. It is wonderful getting to see the bigger picture! I have felt that Toastmasters is very American and it is nice to know that we (the rest of the world) now account for 35% of Toastmasters International. My Dad has been a Toastmaster for 31 years in Cape Town, South Africa and I never understood his passion until I joined my Club just over a year ago. The Toastmasters bug has definitely bitten me!

Note to myself - must start saving to get to an International Convention.

So we all can't be at the conference, but we certainly feel as if we are there by listening to the Podcast. I've just been listening to #003 from the convention; my responce is Wow! What interesting interviews conducted by Bo and Ryan. What fantastic responces from Lance, Johnny (our own Ted) and Balraj.

This was great! I was at the conference, and learned and experienced a lot, but this added even more depth to the experience. Thanks for taking us behind the scenes for additional perspective.
