Interesting discussion. Multicultural Public Relations....It certainly is a new area for me ...not familiar with that term. However, its a nice concept and Corin aught to be commended for delving into this area and enlightening others and sharing her experiences. I particularly agree with the point on respecting each other no matter our cultural background.The articular in the October issue of the Toastmasters magazine was also very enlightening.Thanks Corin for sharing these experience.

I thought this multiculural podcast for us to better understand the Asian Community was important as we live in a global economy with the need to better understand each other and our cultural differences. I have worked with the Philippine and Vietnamese business associates for the past several years as well as took a 3 week trip over to asia this past March and such experiences have made me appreciate and celebrate our differences as well as the many things we have in common.
Thank you, Corin, for your very important topic. It is such a good feeling for me when I see someone take the time to understand and respect varied customs and cultures. Little by little, with effort, the tools we learn in Toastmasters can be used as a bridge to improve communication within cultures, as well.
