As a new member with a total of one speech under my belt I am inspired to learn that Toastmasters has a podcast. I enjoyed this one immensely.

I heard about this podcast a while back but just got around to listening to some episodes.  It's great!  Since I'm competing in the International Speech Contest (won at club and area so far) I really liked the interviews with contestants at the convention.

I have the opposite of the problem mentioned in this podcast.  I don't have a problem finding speech topics.  By the time I gave my third speech, I had a list of 20 other topics I wanted to use.  My problem is choosing among them.  Joel's advice on choosing a topic that the speaker feels inspired and passionate about will be a great help to me in choosing among my many speech ideas.

Keep up the good work!

It's so true.  Regardless of what the subject is, if you can find something about it that you are passionate about there's the inspiration of your speech.  And, you can turn the most boring topic into something enlightening.

Thx. again Bo and Ryan for bringing on an inspiring guest, Joel Pogar.
