Greg Gazin, also known as the Gadget Guy and Gadget Greg, is a freelance syndicated veteran tech columnist, communication, leadership and technology speaker, facilitator, blogger, podcaster and author.

Greg also helps consumers demystify technology and shows how it can be useful, practical and even fun.

He’s penned over 4,000 articles and blog posts and currently produces content for media outlets such as Troy Media and their syndicated sites, Active-Life Magazine and others. He’s also been a writer for Sun Media, Canoe.ca, Edmontonians, Toastmaster Magazine, G4TechTV.ca (G4 Canada) and others. He has also appeared on a number of radio and TV programs including City TV’s BT (BreakFast Television) Edmonton, SUN TV and CTV NewsChannel and has been regular presenter at Business Link.

He’s also currently a Leadership Trainer and Facilitator for Crestcom International.

Greg is a Distinguished Toastmaster and Past District Governor (Director) and has previous held positions as Lt. Governor of Education and Training, Lt. Governor Marketing, Division Governor and Public Relations Manager.

In 2009 Greg was awarded a Presidential Citation from Toastmasters International in recognition for his use of technology to benefit the worldwide Toastmasters Community.

Greg is also a Host and Producer for the Official Toastmasters International Podcast. His own podcast — Toastcaster: Communication Leadership Learning Lab — has been enjoyed by over three million listeners and counting.

And if that isn’t enough, he’s very involved in the community. He’s been on a number of volunteer boards, including the Executive of Digital Alberta (formerly Alberta New Media) where he served as President, and the Canadian Interactive Alliance, as well as a number of condo associations.

Greg has also published his first book: Corey OutSMARTs the Butterflies.

Greg lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
